Just a quick piece of Relic-Art I threw together. The wooden frame was made by a Red Army ex-POW in the spring/summer of 1945 in Northern Norway. Made as a gift to a local helper of the POWs. It had a painting but the owners replaced the frame and threw this one on the dump where I used to work. The pieces of barbed wire I picked in a former POW camp site where the landowner did some construction, could be that the POW who made the frame looked out through those exact wires I ve used for this

Back from the Latvian forests and the International Spring Expedition with Legenda. We discovered two SS Division Nordland Field cemeteries with many soldiers from different regiments, i.e several soldiers from Regiment Norge and Regiment Danmark which very possibly is of scandinavian origin. In total we found 83 soldiers from both World Wars. On the relic side of things we found the site of a blown up LendLease Sherman.
