    Azphil, Mauser did make their own tools, I dont know if they made for the civillian market before the war. Post war they only made tools for the market for a period. I like to think it came with a weapons tool kit or waffenmeister though as it has noother markings than the logo and the part number

    Last week I found this German soup container in a dumping ditch. Today I managed to open it and was surprised by some hidden bonus relics inside it. I was sure that it was empty as it felt so light and nothing rattled when shaking the container. Inside was a small coal shovel, an enamel bowl, a zink water pitcher, a saw blade and a brackets of some sorts, and alittle bit of paper, so nothing fancy just a fun surprise

    Finally I am back to the forests. I have really enjoyed the week off together with the Girlfriend, but it is good to smell the forest and hear the sounds from the detector again

    The essenbehalter might be a good restoration project? I think another forest walker was collecting scrap in it and left it behind? The contents are a little random to be placed during its days in service.

    It was in an unopened dumping pit so its been there since 45-46 or thereabouts when the area was cleaned up.

    Yesterday me and a friend visited an untouched huge German camp. It took a while before we located the right spot but we have work for this summer and the next few ones cut out for us
    I got 21 coins, 16 gaming pieces and a whole lot of other relics as well
