Nearly two and a half week without any digging so I have some catching up to do. I ve been doing some trips the last few days now and had a couple of good finds, like a German badge, leather belts and a piece of bakelite with trench-art engraved

Good finds and it's always nice to see pictures of nature as well.
By the way, have you tried magnet fishing there?

Verdammt,I just bought a magnet with 800kg pull so I hope to test it pretty soon. I spotted some bits of rust in the lake in the pic there, so the magnet comes with me next time Im going up there

A lake full of stuff, we hope. Good luck fishing!
Quite a strong magnet. Don't hurt yourself with it.

The grenade fuse, shown in your link, is a 'M1916 Billant' fuse from a WW1 French F1 type grenade.

Yesterday was a long and warm day searching a Wehrmacht camp together with two good old rust hunters spending their summer in Northern Norway. We spent ten hours hunting war junk, had some nice finds and was tried chased away by a fox.

The watch case is interesting, the design reminds me of something I saw years ago.... when viewed held at an angle...does it create initials or otherwise?
Do any other members remember these clever "Hidden" designs ? Nice find.
