This weeks digging was mad! Or, it was more cutting than digging, some barbed wire was in the way of treasures. Treasures in the form of Lappland Shields!

Keep looking long enough and you'll find something. I metal detect in fields here in pa. I find some old stuff at times but lots of walking. Great finds.

This week we have both ground frost, and snow on the tops. Winter is coming! Between days with really nasty weather was a few ones good enough for some digging so I went out and gathered a few coins, a medal and some other relics

The weather is breathing down our necks now. The last two mornings it was -6 degree Celsius! Too cold. Even if I had to scrape ice off the windshield this week I made it to the woods to mine some rust and made it back home with a little silver
