Eagle eyes - there are two non WW2 items in the set up -
The APB is a fake, that my daughter found at a flea market, it's there to be polite, she had no idea what it was, lol.
The M53 and mount is dressed up and was fake waffen-marked (not by me) to look like a '42, not well done, but Ok for in the office.
After some research I have found a dry-cleaner who specializes in leather goods, for the jacket, that will be the first step. I'll post pictures in a separate thread when it's done - Thank you again, Inka.
I think your dancing shoes need a little polish!

The wooden shoe is bordering on the "board side " of life ! ~ is it not !
Almost too macabre for me ~
It certainly is AT. It was found in a rubbish pit along with the usual rusted food tins ,forks and whatnot. But this is what the poor souls wore. If they had good footwear it was confiscated, and handed a pair of planks like these. This one seems to have had a top made from leather or cloth , but ofte a piece of cloth was attached to slip the foot between , or a string. And this was worn all year round from muddy spring to the biting -25 degrees Celsius of the polar winter :/
