The hat is a great addition bud,, i suppose the buzz when you stumble across something is always the same and the outcome can differ,, not much to search for here in the UK bud thank god (they never really made it over here), but fingers crossed mother nature will push some beauties to the surface for you this year,,,oh ps i got the Garand receiver,,, idont suppose the US made it as far as your neck of the woods.
We didn`t have U.S troops here no,but the Brits seems to have supplied the resistance with some U.S equipment and weapons.

Actually, we did have some US troops in country in 1945, Operation Rype for example. There were also quite a few units here to overlook the surrender. A lot of US weapons an equipment was dropped to the resistance, the M1(A1) Carbine was widely used
