Last week me and Pauluspaul went for another trip to the east.
After a LONG drive we finally reached our location, on a nice Polish farm were we made friends a few years ago.
This proud farm/land owner of a certain old age, knows to tell us a lot of places were he ought to have seen or remembered some nice details about the war.
Due to very strict regulations it is prohibited to dig anywere in Germany ore Poland. Unless you have te permission of the land owner or from the community were you are.

We are lucky to have owners permission, this has the advantage that you can dig freely and the disadvantage that the area is pretty small.
But that doesn't stop us from finding stuff.

After the usual research we know that SS was located in our area during the last months of the war. Unfortunatly we did not find any indicating that it was SS.
But with some fantasy, we hope to have found militaria belonging to the SS.

Offcourse, we handle it with care and the farmer calls the local autorities to destroy them.

WOW! Terrific finds. Too bad the PF's and mortars must be destroyed, but it must be done.

Beautiful finds, you should ask around to see if someone in the military could professional disarm the panzerfausts. They would be great to have in your collection, it is special when you have found them yourself.
