Found this metal detecting

Hello,
I found this metal detecting and need helmet to identify what type of helmet it is.
Really I wanted to know about the decal. What should have been there.

The helmet was a m42, by which time most helmets are only single decal, therefore not SS as its on the wrong side and not luftwaffe as its the wrong shape so either Heer or Km with the former more likely simple because of numbers issued.

Yep, 99% likely it's a Heer M42. I dig it. What country and region did you find it in, if you don't mind me asking?
