    Have you cleaned it up yet ?

    Has it got any markings on it ?

    The corrosion on it looks very similar to what I see on pieces of Drop tank I find.....the petrol must have this effect.

    Hi Steve, I didn't pick it up (but i know where I dropped it!). If it is some tank part, next week-end I can go and take it and then I'll post some pics after cleaning

    Kind of looks like a manifold to a gas stove?

    Yes, the same was used in the soviet stoves in the mid of 80's.
