The B17 canopy section is from the Bastogne Museum, it must have been taken from a B17 that had bellied in not far away, when the aircraft was dismantled for scrap after the war I guess someone must have kept this section as a souvenir.

hello That part of B17 is it still at the museum at Bastogne?

My Grandfather was a replacement soldier in the 28th Division. He said, he fought in that forest and went on to the Elb River. He's past away now. Just thought I would mention that.
