I also think that under the cap peak needs to be blacker. If you look at your skin, where the light is hitting it the most, there is very little colour, it just is normally white and where the light is hitting it the least, it will be much darker, often just black under the peak of a cap in this instance. I normally can change this using blend if (when I am using a gradient map) but this time I tried using a method recommended by one senior member on reddit.com/r/Colorization and blend if isn't really feasible. If anyone who does do Photoshop would be so kind as to recommend a fix (John4022, MedicalAmmunitionCrate, looking at you ) I would be most grateful.

Last one is my favorite as well. Just tone down the bright eyes and maybe go lower on the opacity. Just keep practicing and it will come naturally.
