Hi all, strangle title I know.

I'm sure some of you have read my previous seach for help on my missin pow camp. I just remembered that i used to work on the ruin way of an airfield that the british airbourne took off from on d-day. a big portion of the airfield is now built over, however, there is a section of the run way still there and a section of what seems to be a series of roads all covered over with trees etc and who know what is in there. Never really went venturing in when i worked there but its all accessable. There is a nice little memorial at the sight of the end of the runway.

When I worked on this sight while construction was going on, they kept finding munitions. A lot of airial test bombs! I found half a .303 round laying in the dirt one day on site, so took that home. No idea what you may find with some skills.

Anyone fancy a look one day?

I dont know why I never thought about mentioning this place before.

    I know that Paul,
I only said that I would be interested.
Who owns it and do I/we have access to it LEGALLY are usually the first 2 questions I ask.

its just next to a tiny car park that people use to walk there dogs in the open field next to it, this is grass land, pretty much a playing field. Access to the area in question, I believe is allowed (but will verify) and I might have a contact to grant permission to search the land, if the land is owned by whom i think it is.

I will no do anything to get my self in trouble, I'm not that daft
