    Hi guys!
Oh, I have not been here for a long time and I missed the anniversary, 10 years of registration on the forum ...
2019 is coming to an end ... And I want to share my best find of this year.

Summer 2019, Stalingrad Kessel - Marinovka nose,
German bunker and on the roof was left side of the Marder II Pz 2 Ausf.D2 (Sd.Kfz. 132 7,62 cm Pak 36(R) Sfl.)

Amazing condition, a lot of paint and when I washed it by water there appeared a Balkenkreuz and an emblem of the 3rd Infantry Division (Motorisiert)

There we can see the inscription "A 2" I think it means the second vehicle in 1st Platoon (Zug) or the 1st vehicle in 2nd Platoon...

Definitely this Marder 2 from Panzerjäger-Abteilung 3 was destroyed in the battle with the Soviet units (there is a large dent) and the German soldiers dismantled it for their needs. They made a good roof for their bunker. The thickness of the metal sheet is 1 cm, about 200 kg safety)

I have a real photo of Marder 2 on Marinovka nose

Excellent find Sebastien ! What did you do with it ?/ Since it is so large and heavy it might be difficult
to move around the house ?
    Thanks for showing.

Keeping it in my friend’s backyard. Very rare tank for restoration work.

OK, I understand now. Do you know if anybody is restoring a Marder ? I'd like to see one that
    is completely restored someday.
    Thanks,

    An incredible find!

The feeling you get from unearthing things like that must be fantastic
