"How can a person not love our Hobby! History can at age put the wonderful sparkle in anyone's eye at any age".

Any dug up relic from any battlefield, is a joy to see.

Amazing "finds" and with the unusual/odd bits and pieces, that relieve the boredom of every day life.

To see these guys out and about, digging/scraping/diving and cleaning up these remarkable items for us to look at, is great.

The main thing is the history that's been "refound" with it, bringing it back to life once more.

    Long may it continue..

Those tank parts I could look at all day long!

The gates of hell were opened and we accepted the invitation to enter" 26/880 Lance Sgt, Edward Dyke. 26th Bn Northumberland Fusiliers , ( 3rd Tyneside Irish )

    1st July 1916

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
