On it there are no holes or hooks.
Some other guys have found the same object in different part of Italy always in places where there were battles or Allied/German encampment. ; nobody knows anything about it.
They suppose it has to do with German armaments, but in my opinion i think belongs to Canadian troops.
I hope you can help me

    Greetings,

    Lewis

How big is it? What is the thickness of the metal. Looks like something to help distribute weight so it doesn't get bogged down in the mud. Purely just a guess....
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

its diameter is exactly of 15.5 cm (but it is worn) and the material with which it is composed is iron 'cause it's full of rust.

I found five of this "discs" just at the base of a tree and they were placed in a precise way as if they had followed a pattern; three in-line and two on the opposite sides.
It was about 2 meters away from each other.

I still think, especially now with the better picture and the size, that this was used to distribute weight on soft ground.

Example, I could see a table or tripod leg going in that little indentation.

I don't think it's about WW1. In the place where i found this object there were clashes only during the Ww2.
Sunday morning I went back to that place, and not far from where i found these "discs", i've found these two other object in the same dig hole:

    What is it?

on it there are some symbols

and this this sort of buckle; What is it?
