    We should be doing the dig next week , the owner as given us permission & the police have been informed just in case

    Sad news on this , Im having to pull out of doing any digs on this site , the guy with the detector as pulled out & as I dont have 1 I wont be able to do the dig . I have been told by the owners of the field that unless I do the dig by the end of october he will not keep the permission open , the problem I have is the field is only accessable on foot & it as waist high grass , so I would have to go in to the field & cut the grass before any detecting could happen , I think it would be an all day job just cutting it .
