Interesting how this Latvian seller offers a "WWII ground dug" Soviet cockarde that was not introduced until 1955.

Well, reason can be very simple - seller just does not know it is not WWII era item. You can find also 2000 years old items from old battlefields and also modern items. It happens all the time.

Informing the seller that their unicum ground dug holy grail of collectors is post war doesn't generally get a good reaction from them.
