Article about: Possibly Austrian. Does anyone know more about the history or markings on these bayonets? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

    As mentioned in other thread is mostly M1799 bayonet for M1798 flintlock rifle, it was used long time prior 1838, so its hard to say its austrian, normally there was * on elbow of socket, and some units? unfortunally here not visible. The point of blade looks here like shortened a little.
