Armeedolch, (trench knife), maker´s mark? / trader ? ...
Hi, mates,
Today I received a "salty", but, very interesting, blank weapon.
It´s a, private purchased, (attachable !), German, "Armeedolch".
WWI, or, later, (Weimarer Republik), I don´t know ...
I´m interested in the maker´s mark, (maybe, the logo af a trader ?) !
Any help appreciated !
Thx. in advance,
R.

As mentioned on other forum the book of Walter speaks that this maker used buffalo, or stier marking, question is it how it looked like, it could be too a distributor mark. There were many firms in SOlingen area.
J. B. HASENCLEVER & SOHNE - Faca e bainha de PRATA Bras
The logo is there on blade is little different but same Bulle and only in other position, it could be it was used, they exported major part of production to south america for gauchos probably, so mostly the reason of similar logo. The firm was well used from 1870-19xx.There are archives in Remscheid one of it is geschaeftsbuch from this firm.
