Default Czech Vz24 Bayonet - german issued?

Hi, I sort of spontaneusly bought a Vz24 bayonet because the auction price was really low (13 eur). And my main question is, why is the muzzle ring missing? I've seen a bunch of other Vz24's without them and to my understanding this means that it was issued to the German army. And my other question is, what's the "B" marking on the blade? Is it a czech stamp or a german waffenamt? I tried looking for the stamp online but couldn't find any other bayonet with it. And it doesn't look like my bayonet has any other stamps. Sorry that the photos aren't the best but it's the only pics the seller has and it didn't arrive to me yet. I would really appreaciate any help with this one.
    Best regards,
    Litwa

Czech bayonets VZ24 dont existed as there was only czechoslovakia, or Protektorat Boehmen und Maehren in war period. The B stamp is a czechoslovak CSZ/B stamp which means production of Czechoslovak Armory Brno, and series nr.B .The bayonet is in wrong condition, the grips are not period. and the piece was chemicaly entrostet. The only possibility its a german rework is removed barell ring and possible the founding situation as with german troops. Offcoarse there was other marking but is no visible now.

Agreeing with the above and that it's most likely a German rework, normally the Czech bayonets are well marked. In the attached photo at the top a Vz.24, the middle a German supervised OEM factory CZ bayonet with no muzzle ring, and a standard issue S.84/98 for comparison purposes. Best Regards, Fred
