I want to know if this German skull with iron cross handled dagger is real or not. I don’t know what to call it I haven’t seen one ever. If anyone can tell if it’s real or fake it would help a lot, thank you.

Hello Personally in my opinion it isn’t original or period. A post war fantasy piece most likely, definitely not a repro of an original item.

Ya Michael looks like he has the "greatest hits" of all time fantasy items. I tried to search him as seller on eBay to see if he was still active but came up empty. Unfortunately we see way too many similar pieces posted here like you see on the watchdog site (attach link). Thankfully no one got burnt in this instance. Kindest regards.

This blade is really "over the top". Something I would expect to see in a comic book or a 1960's B rated zombie Nazi movie.

MAP, it’s funny you say Nazi Zombie movie because that’s the first place I imaged seeing this kind of knife. Probably on the hip of an SS officer with three Knights Crosses around his neck.
