Dear friends, please help me decide the age of this fighting knife, i know that indians make a fine copy of thiy type..What do you think, is this one of the copies, or an original WW1 knife?

The maker's name is on the wrong side of the blade I think.

Difficult one, yes they say the maker should be on the other side, but don't forget these knifes were mades by the loads and by diffrent makers.
There are a lot of diffrent German wwI fighting knifes out there, it is to easy to say this is a fake because of the stamp being on the "wrong side".
Where and how did you buy it, and was there any story about it.
A knife like this would be 50 euros in this condition overhere.
This particular knife is not an original Hammesfahr !
