Identification needed, unknown producer logo.

Can you help me identify this civil knife?
The blade is huge..26cm long, and one friend says it is german made, but not sure.
Do you know which producer used the logo stamped on the blade?

Looks like nice bowie knife, it could be british or german producer, You should look to knife makers on inet or in other books.

Dear Friends, thank you for the answers, the knife is german made, it is believed to made by P.W. Knecht Solingen , as far as i know, he produced swords for the german empire as well.
