    Hi everyone!

Congratulations Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I want to show you a picture of a digger of Stalingrad. I do not know him, but the findings are interesting.
It's a reminder about Christmas in 1942 at Stalingrad.
Church of the Nativity star, Jesus Christ figurine fragments, and Christmas decorations.

Here is a copy of a Christmas card made by a shipmate of mine while stationed off the coast of Beirit Lebanon in 1983. In October we has just participated in the largest naval bombardment since the Korean War. The USS New Jersey BB-62, was 1/2 mile from my ship, the USS Independence CV-62. Firing broadsides with it's 16" gun batterys into Beirut and Syria. That was a sight I will never forget. It was originally a black and white outline and we copied them and hand colored each one. We had no cards on the ship so we made our own. We also made a tree out of wires, electronic parts and bullets. It was a lonely Christmas and my second at sea.
The caption says "Yes sir Arafat" referring to Yassir Arafat.

Merry Christmas to all from Mt. Hood, Oregon.
