    Hello. I just got this sword and I can not determinate what exactly it is. It looks similar to US model 1832, but the eagle is not the same... Blade has been welded on the handle and marks has been grinded off. No other initials..

    Mhhhm, the eagle looks rather french in my Opinion and the US model is based on a French one, but i have never seen one like this.
