the bayos, from left -to-right
Japanese Arisaka
German Butcher
Canadian Ross
hard to tell anything about the socket bayonet shown above
that scull crasher thingy would be Ausrto-Hungarian (I believe)
wound be interested to see that brass eagle in details please
Great items! I like the trench club....very brutal weapons.
Left to right-
Japanese Arisaka (if you post the tang, I can tell you who made it).
German 1898/05 Butcher bayonet
Canadian Ross Rifle bayonet
The folding knife in the case might be an Okapi ????
I dont have in front of me at the moment but the only marking on the arisaka was three overlapping circles. No other markings were visible.
I like the large starburst helmet badge, I believe it is saxon. Cheers, Robert
This is a nice collection of items.
Was your grandfather in the canadian military?
Chris

Markings on Japanese Arisaka Rifles and Bayonets of World War II
Adam..you should of just put the bayonets and knives on this sub section of the forum, as you have already shown the entire collection on this thread in "collections & displays" Newly inherited ww1 items. Would like some help idetifying. and most, if not all of your badge items have already been identified for you. Duplicating threads takes up valuable space. However, I see you have removed the ribbon and buttons, enabling me to identify the other two shoulder straps...both Imperial German M1915 straps, the one with "79" is from "Infanterie-Regt. von Voigts-Rhetz (3.Hannoversches) Nr.79" garriosoned at Hildesheim part of X Armee Korps, and the other with "73" is from "Füsilier-Regt. Feldmarshchall Prinz Albrecht von Preußen (1.Hannoversches) Nr.73" garrisoned at Hannover, also part of X Armee Korps. These two Regiments were entitled to wear the famous "Gibralter" cuff title. Prost ! Steve.
