    I can not help with the dating,
    But that is a very nice looking sword.

    It is a quality sword. A Danish Naval officer's sabre Model 1849, by E & F Horster, made pre-WW2 based on the early style of trademark used. WKC also made these swords from 1890's.

    It's stamped with "S√łartilleriet" (Sea Artillery).
    The service existed as an independent special service within the Royal Danish Navy from 1739-1971.
    'S√łartilleriet' was the technical arm of the navy and tested, developed, and procured new armament for the ships: Large calibre guns and small arms alike. Including swords.
