Swiss Bayonet

Not a Bayonet man but saw this and just loved the shape, its a Swiss one made in 57 I think. Lovely in hand and to me very pretty

These are beautiful bayonets some are made by Victorinox , I've been meaning to pick up one myself.
They are available now on the surplus market , but I'm sure they will dry up in no time.

Nice that you have the correct style leather frog with it, Ben.
More recent ( Stg.90 ) frogs usually found with these are
cheaply made of green rubber infused cloth.........

Just sold one of these at work last month. They are quality made items.

I've seen one of these at a dealers recently. There must be a surplus supply coming onto the market. That said, it's a nice looking bayonet, typically well made Swiss, and I can't help but think there's a design nod towards the Fairbairn-Sykes commando knife.

I had the choice Steve but I liked the look of the leather frog, much nicer
