2-Place Stickpins...

EK I & II combos...you could argue these are a single as otherwise it's difficult to differentiate between an EKI and EKII. The double cross single charm is a Deumer style, whereas the overlapping EKs are the St&L style. Deumer also used single EKs, and are usually evident with the leave and date having the finish removed to show silver against the back background

A couple more Deumer pairings...Deumer usually placed their minis side-by-side on a cross bar, whereas St&L generally overlapped them.

3 Place Stickpins...



An interesting pin, sadly missing the center badge, depicting all 3 grades of the Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen. It's not unusual to see such redundancy in larger stacks, generally with multiple grade Verwundetenabzeichen, probably to inflate the appearance of their stack...but it is a bit unusual to see a pin dedicated to a single award of multiple grades

A fun little combo with a Deutsches Olympia Ehrenzeichen

Some 5-place awards...starting to get very interesting...

Nahkampfspange combos...

One of the few examples of St&L pieces with a non-overlapping award. You generally see this done when a post-war award was earned and added to a pre-existing pin, or when an enamel award is present, I'm guessing the enamel wouldn't react well with the soldering process. They are generally attached with a small metal strip on rear to the overlapping stack

A couple more examples, this time side-by-side because of enameling. Bottom pin is a Deumer I believe

An FJ combo with numbered Erdkampfabzeichen, an example of an award that has never been confirmed to have been produced in wartime

Kriegsmarine one at the bottom...I've found the KM combos the toughest to come by

Great pin to a vet who earned a Finnish award during the war and continued to serve post-war...

DAK and Russia vet...served both sides of the climate spectrum!

I did not...I was debating it but he mentioned the RK was EKI size...not unheard of but enough to make me think long enough someone else got it. I will post my chains in this thread tonight
