Post war police helmet

Hi Folks

I hope it's ok to show you an afterwar helmet. It's a postwar police helmet with a size of 58 wihich looks exactly the same way as the helmet discussed here Is this a West German Police or BGS Helmet?



The helmet has only smaler storage scratches and someone tried to find a lot number under the paint



Someone wrote an -71- in the helmet which doesen't make any sense to me but could it be the production year or an internal number?



The liner has the only stamp I've found on the entire helmet, it's a 58 which fits perfet to my head.



Even if it's not from the ww2 period which my main focus is, I like it.
