    Gents,
Received a nice photo lot in the mail yesterday. The photos were taken at Gottfried Ludwig Weber's funeral in 1958, a recipient of the Oak Leaves.

He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and its higher grade Oak Leaves was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Gottfried Weber was captured by Soviet troops in May 1945 in the Courland Pocket. He was released in 1955 and in 1956 he joined the Bundeswehr.

A closer view on the "Ordenskissen". The IAB looks like a 57er, so I'm inclined to say the others are too.
