Looks fine to me. Can't comment on the attached badge (originality or period attached). Erzatz sweatband with felt strip.

I will leave more detailed feedback to those who know more, especially regarding the underside color of the visor brim. Not sure from the photo's if it is crème or matte green oxide.
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

    Hey Chris,
    it is a regimental badge.
Mostly seen on (artillery) crush caps.
Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!

    Hi,
the badge is a "Sardinienschild" used from 90^Panzerdivision in Sardinia Isle and after at the front of Cassino and "Gotic line".
But can you say me something about the visor cap? Thanks

Thank you for the replies , I'd hate to make a judgement on the hat .

Maybe Stonemint or another expert will comment .

    Hi

I might be being a bit controversial but I'm sorry to say I don't like the cap. my main concerns are the insides..........

I think the blousing (lining) is all wrong and not tight enough, the celluloid is missing....maybe to rid it of a plastic one, peak underneath is non standard and may also be plastic plus the torn paper sweatband is stitched on very similar to post war caps that I have seen. On their own these issues may be explained away but when put together they make it a red flag for me.

Outside is ok but the wreath looks too big for the cap band which should be 4.5 cm in width....again fakes I have seen seem to have smaller band width because they include the piping in the 4.5 cm measurement, in my experience original caps don't.

Won't comment on the cap badge for the regt but I reckon that may be the convincer to get the cap sold.

Just my opinion which may well be wrong, happy to see other views before a judgement is passed. Hope this helps.

    cheers
