In most cases I can't contribute to the authenticity of badges but in this case I think I can (have a look at the stem of the Edelweiß):

Never seen a half size ink stamp. A lot of doubt on this one too.

Yes edelweiss is post war. compare to this one on my cap. Straight stem, 4 holes not 3. The insignia is very crudely sewn on. Unfortunately the cap sheds a lot of doubt.
