As for the tag under the sweat bad, there is one, and it reads: TUCHMUTZE FUR SS, HERSTELLER 4, some other writing I cant make out, a date of 16-1-1935, another number -212671

It's good to know this site has taught even me a few things after all....Stonemint, Mr. Coleman and FB being some of those teachers--however indirectly.
In Mr. Coleman defense, though he certainly doesn't need it(especially from the likes of me), after contacting him privately for enlisting his expertise on the visor all he said was the insignia were fakes and nothing more.
