Long story short, I was wondering if I could ask your opinions on a luftwaffe visor? Blades and helmets are more my cup of tea, but I had picked this up recently. So I am a tad bit on edge to know if I did well, or got a lemon.

Looks to be a Luftwaffe NCO visor, with signals/communications (dark yellow/brown?) piping marked Landes-Lief.-Gen. d. Kürschner –u. Mützenmacher Handwerks, Berlin No. 18. Lieferjahr 1939, size 57. No unit marks in the band, other than an inked "1." Seems like light usage on the sweatband, but some normal wear evident.

I have heard LAGOs have been heavily faked/reproduced.

I really do appreciate the help, being a young collector at 25 its a tough market!

Awesome, I was pretty sure it was good...but I have limited knowledge in the realm of visors! Thanks for the help. Any idea on a ballpark of value?

A very Nice cap which is indeed flights rather then signals. Ballpark figure for a mint condition one is around $650-700 so i would be around $500-600 for the one you have displayed personally.
