    Default luftwaffe officer cap

    few questions:

    - to be sure: Original?
-Is there anyone able to identify this maker?
-how should the eagle be reattached? it looks like it was glued to the cap.. no stitching visible
    - what about the odd looking stitching on the exterior cap band?

Not original to the 3rd Reich Period. A post war piece of rubbish - does it matter who the maker is?

Luftwaffe isn't my field but this hat looks like a fake or a post-war cap , either way it's been ruined by the glue used in the insignia application .

Hat is actually a genuine mid-war piece.
Maker is Hochste Leistung, a mystery maker to this day.
Sewing on the band is uncommon, but I have seen it before.

Some idiot obviously glued insignia to it at one point.

This is a pre-/early-war Hochste Leistung on Ebay right now:

I take it back--thanks to d'alquen, the maker is Willi Grosche of Magdeburg.

I simply asked to state why you think it is wrong because I believe it is real and wanted some constructive feeback. I also wanted to know If not wartime, then what you think it was used for?.... what is wrong with my attitude/ questions? Or we have a language problem and are completely misunderstanding eachother or you have serious problems with your ego. If so I suggest you leave and go look for a mirror
