    Hopefully for you I am wrong but this looks like one of those artificially aged Einheitsfeldmützen to me (was it singed?). The specialists for this kind of cap will be able to tell you on first sight.

    THANKS FOR YOUR OPINION, WHAT SHOULD I LOOK AT THEN? THE CAP IN GENERAL IS Worn YES AND WITH SOME SMALL REPAIRS, BUT IT DOESN'T SEEM MADE ON PURPOSE, THE TRAPEZOID SEEMS TO ME ALSO ORIGINAL.....
