Is this a medical visor? Is it authentic?

Hi I bought this cap recently at a military fair, I was quiet confident at the time just wandering if anyone can help me authenticate this cap

I'm not an expert but it looks like a late war private purchase visor ( black visor underside, sweatband). The piping looks like kornblumenblau ( corn flower blue) for Medical on my screen. Wait for one of the old hands to fly by and help.

I see no red flags. Agree with Bill. The black underside of the visor points to late war.

I would say zinc insignia also points to late war. All seem to match.
