Question on M34 Heer overseas cap.

I picked up this with a collection of other items that I'm much more versed in. I mistakenly didn't evaluate it as good as I should have. I now notice that it doesn't have the grommet air vents and the insignias don't seem to be sewn on in a careful manner, meaning that they aren't in the middle perfectly. Are there any examples of known original grommet-less caps? I guess all and all what do you cap experts think. It doesn't react it black light and is unmarked..

Hi Adam, you were right to be concerned. This one is bad. Although the insignia is good, so not a total loss.
