I've seen this, which I'm considering, but I'm 50/50 over the authenticity of it. Not keen on the eyelets or the actual pattern of it, but the plus side the markings look OK?? Hoping to get some opinions on it, good or bad. Thanks in advance.

I am far from an authority when it comes to RAD Feldmutze, I hope it pans out for you if deemed original !
I'd rather be A "RaD Man than a Mad Man "
I have posted mine here somewhere, can't find it now. I will add photos of mine to compare when I get home today.
Ralph.

Must say they are very similar, but I'm still not 100% - thanks G!

This cap seems to have been composed several pieces - there is a seam in the outer fabric (inerestingliy enough not in the lining) separating the front part from the back part, there are triangular inserts made of slightly different coloured fabric at the front and at the back - either this is a field made specimen made of left over bits and pieces or a cap that was heavily repaired. Don't know what to think of that.
