Hi Mike, sorry another bad one.

Fake cap and fake insignia. The Edleweiss is a post war West German example. Note the bent stem and four point attachment holes to sew it on. The cloth eagles & cockades have cropped up on the forum in the past. Once again the material used for the cap is this ribbed weave which is seen on many fakes. Originals were made from shoddy reworked cloth.

Again the RB number is wrong.
