Interesting. Appears to be a Heer cap with added black band and SS insignia. Possibly a period modification; more pics would help!

If this was a Heer conversion how would the oakleaf-wreath and cockade have fitted into this extremely narrow centerband? The skull badge almost fills it.

I would suppose that the logo under the rhomboid wouldn't
be so nice based on the rest of the cap?

Perhaps the owner could take a peek to see if there's an integral green cap band under what we can see here?
