SS cap have some questions.

Hi guys,

I am interested in buying this cap, it clearly has some issues like the repro skull and the ink stain and the overall condition...
Since I am far from an expert on these kind of items I was wondering if you guys could help me out..
First of all is it legit?
Second, what should I pay for an item like this?

I don't think that type of eagle is supposed to be there, isn't it an SA eagle?

I dont think it's an original SS cap and I would pass on it. The eagle looks like it stands a chance though, I think it's a M36 eagle (But I am not too sure on that.)

Nothing about this cap strikes me as original. The lining appears in the photos to be replaced and I must say from what I see above I don't like the shape of the cover or the piping. The peak does not appear to be consistent with other known original examples from what I can see, and not solely because there is not a marking on the underside. The cap looks like an aborted attempt to upgrade to an officers variety. Try posting this in the cap authentication area as others are much better versed on this than I am.
