SS hood?
Hi everyone, I´ve acquired an interesting hood. It´s marked inside by "SS-BW", also snaps are marked "PRYM". Hood is made from unusual material, I would say it is felt. Camo pattern is standard oak-leaf.
The only thing that I´ve found was some old auction, there is stated that more informations about this hood are available in book from H. Walther "Divisionen der SS" (unfortunately I don´t have this book). What do you think about this unusual hood? Authentic one or fantasy? Many thanks!
Interesting, its the first time I have come across that style, I have looked through my SS uniform books to no avail

Its a new one for me, too. I find the SSBW stamp a bit suspicious...
I never saw such item.....perhaps one post WWII hood for motorcycle, with the SS BW...

The camo material (which might be real) seems to be arbitrarily tacked onto the hood. I have never encountered such a hood for military use. I suspect it is a civilian item ginned up to look SS. NH
