SS overseas cap

Hello Everyone,

I am new here and have introduced myself on the 'introducing-section'.

My first post will be some pictures of my SS overseas cap, I saw in other sections on this forum that there are collectors of this kind of caps, so I hope that these collectors can tell me good or bad information about my cap.

I'm no specialist for this kind of cap but I don't like the fabric nor the insignia nor the way these are sewn to the cap. Hopefully one of the specialists will contradict me.

In real life it's better to see the fainted signs. But it look like there is a ss stamp.
Also made 2 extra pictures for the type of wool.

If there really is an ss stamp then it is no good. What the the other stamp say? I believe I can read Braunschweig on the lower bend.

FYI: The fact that stonemint liked and thanked for my post is not a good sign for the authenticity of this cap.

Yes, the stamp is from Clemens Wagner.

I agree with Wolfgang. Unfortunately the cap is a fake top to bottom. Wrong type of wool, wrong cut and reproduction insignia sewn on oddly.

I think the skull is a replica of this authentic variant below. The cloth insignia experts can probably guide you better.
