Cap Field Pile OD MQ-1

Good morning gents,

I picked this up with a few other items that I bought just to get one of them (as we collectors ar wont to do!). If I divide the total price paid by the number of items I could say this cost me about £5.

I don't collect this stuff so I thought I might get some useful opinion off members here who do.

I believe this is the interim type produced between the M43 (think that is correct) and the M1951. As it is dated Jan 1951 I think I am correct that it must be one of the first made. As you can see from the pics it is in mint condition.

Thanks for posting Mark (five years ago)..... As I'm on the subject at the second!?! I figure I'd show a tag from the same maker.
