    Can any one help id these , i think they are home front as they came with some vad armbands ect

    They appear to be the kind of cap worn by factory workers, namely the women who worked in munitions manufacturing during both world wars. Are there no markings on the inside?

    There is only a number 270 , they came with a small arm band ect which is - immobile VAD - iam unsure if it is ww1 or ww2

    First photo is / Two munitions workers from Edinburgh, 1914 - 1918

    Second photo / A woman assembly line worker at a munitions factory in 1917 ( Unknown location )

    Kind of hard to really see your caps. If you have a Styrofoam head, maybe placing one of these on there would be better?
    .. To me, these look to be WW1 era.
