Default Question About a unknown Visor Cap

    Dear Members.
I would like to ask you if anyone is familiar with the cap on the photos I enclose.
It is offered on eBay, and I would like to go for it if you could give me any hence about what kind of Cap it is. I just presume is British ww2, but have no clue about the badge…and what value could come in question.
I would be very grateful for any opinions
    Thank you
    My best Regards,
    Artur.

Hello, and thank You very much for your opinion.
What makes me wonder, is the Cap crown stitching (inwards stitched).
I usually see that on WW2 Caps, presented on diff. Collections e.t.c.
Was that a common thing to have different stitching ways pre ww2 ?
I haven't seen, any of that kind on past WW2 Caps, neither on the post ww2 issue caps, neither the so called, correct WW2 cap reproductions sold everywhere.
I find that an interesting subject, as well as the “duck bill”, that should indicate the ww2 era, thou there are many pictures showing ww2 caps with rather rounded Bill...(?) Would be grateful for any clue (if there is any, in the matter of British ww2 headgear.
    My bhest regards
    Artur

Thank-you very much for the hence, Didier.

I presumed it could go in the Navy direction.
But it looks very much like the: RCAF GROUP CAPTAIN’S VISOR CAP on :
The Collector's Guild, appart from the badge...I just wonder, have no clue, apart from that link. And the Badge I haven't found so far. Would be nice to know what kind of Cap that is...Thank you again and Best Regards!

Fantastic information, I still wonder (hope) If it could be a reissued ww2 era cap? The crown stitch.

    Greetings
    Artur
