    How were the gloves heated?

    Cheers Michael, Similar to the USAAF F3 suits, the voltage goes through the eagle snaps and heats the element (like an electric blanket).

    For a note, most commonwealth items like the gloves will be mismatched as they were shipped separately to avoid being pilfered.

    Me too, certainly has been on the cap for a long time.

    Interesting also that the new cap has weather protection of sorts lined in- Tropical/or Welsh rain? anyway couple of shots of my set
