    Nice one Steve!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

This type of cap reminds me of of many movies from the 1950's
and 60's as well as TV shows from the same era such as
    'McHales Navy'.........

Hi Steve, I think that you have a nice early well used cap. As a matter of interest, is the frame wicker or plastic or fibre?? A nice cap which would grace any collection (including mine!!).

Cheers and happy New Year Michael R

Hi Michael, and same to you.

The cap is not in my possession just yet. Another week I'd say.
It was advertised as 'vintage' - that could mean anything !
I understand that if it has a wicker frame it's likely WWII.

I'll post better shots when it arrives.........
    Regards,

    Steve.

Hi Steve, In the absence of an actual date, I would list it as WWII with the wicker frame. Looking forward to the photos!!

    Regards Michael
